The harbour restaurant
At the Oosten, with a transparent appearance, built out of glass, steel, constructed of concrete and wood, you always sit on the sunny side.
Whether you are sitting in the restaurant, at the bar, in the lounge, at the beer garden under the plane trees or on the terrace you have a spectacular 270-degree perspective of the frankfurt skyline and the urban river landscape including the glass facade of the EZB and the Deutschherrn- and Honselbrücke. The roofed terrace on the first floor is built on one of the two refurbished loading cranes.
At the same time, the crane forms the basis for the spacious terrace on the second floor.
Ground floor
On the ground floor there is an all-day catering on indoor 200 qm with 160 seats including the winter garden which can be rented optionally for major events.
The terrace area directly by the Main has a total of 160 seats. During the summer months, an additional self-service snack bar is opened. It includes a capacity of 100 seats.
Winter garden
he winter garden has capacity for max. 55 persons in summer and max. 60 persons in winter and is separated from the main room by glass walls.
Upon good weather, 3 lateral slide doors will be opened, leaving you covered.
Please consider that during the summer, our staff as well as our guests can utilize the gateway to the terrace across the winter garden.
Wintergarden/Pergola Outdoor Area (heatable)
The terrace area to be roofed has heating units and a pergola. There is space for up to 60 people (maximum).
Second floor
The entire 2nd floor measures 290 sqm,170 qm of the area is a public accessible section which can be reached through a separate stair case. The skyline-bar (40 sqm) in conjunction with the porch on the 2nd floor, can be rented during the cold season. The skyline bar can only be rented in connection with the 1st floor.

How to get there:
The Oosten is located directly on the banks of the Main. The best way to
reach us is on foot or by public transport. Our mobile guests will find parking spaces in the
surrounding area, but not directly at the Oosten.
